A space for Sacred Earth Activists to connect, vision, network, collaborate, hold ceremony and help to grow our sacred actions
What is the land teaching us at this time of the Summer Solstice?
How can the energy of the season strengthen and sustain us in our activism?
What helps us stand more fully in service of the Earth and in the work for justice?
Sacred Earth Activism brings together those working for change, grounding activism in relationship with the living Earth through ritual, reflection, and shared practice.
Summer Solstice and Sacred Activism
The Summer Solstice marks the height of light, a time of fullness, vitality, and illumination. It is a time when the sunrise appears to stand still on the horizon for a number of days, and so is a moment to pause and be still, ourselves, and reflect on what is flourishing, what must be tended carefully, and what we are being called to carry forward.
As activists, organisers, and people working for change, this season invites us to reconnect with the deeper sources of strength that sustain us over time. The Solstice reminds us that while there are moments of intensity and action, there must also be moments of grounding, nourishment, and renewal.
In this gathering, we will share in a simple ritual, drawing on the energy of the Solstice to reconnect with clarity, resilience, and collective purpose, and explore how sacred practice can help sustain our efforts for the Earth, justice, peace, and healing.
There will also be space to share what is alive in our activism at this time, to connect across different causes and movements, and to continue growing networks of Sacred Earth Activism.
